Information

Tesseract has been a classic pet deck for many Eternal players over the years. There have been a few particularly potent additions to the deck over time, and it was worth revisiting. The deck isn't technically a combo deck, but...

The general premise of the deck is you getting a Tesseract cast and following that up with damage spells to draw lots of cards. The spells themselves are not the most amounts of damage, it is the card advantage that is crushing against most decks. Unit decks tend to be the better matchups, control decks can be tough when they prioritize properly and address only the cards that they should against you. There are different ways to build this deck, for example using volatility and changing a few cards around. I am playing this version specifically because I wanted to try Icy Scrying and with all synergy decks, space it tight and removing the volatility hits allowed for a lot more space to play with.

OG MVPs:
Condemn - being kept up after a tesseract cast is a very common way to close out the game. You can counter any interaction, and condemn can be a drawing chain all by itself, grabbing trick throw.
Sparking Vermin - Stays in hand until you are ready to cast Tessa, will trigger the draw affect when it is used as fodder to cast your big spell.

Big recent additions to the deck:
Warning Shot - it is a 0 cost, draw 2 with tessa in play. It also allows you to play less red influence and skew the power base to be feln.
Serpent Hive - Triggers tessa when inscribed, so for your power drop, you can also draw 2 cards. It has the added benefit of jumping your tessa, which ends up being relevant against some decks. Not a bad card against control decks either.
Icy Scrying - This feels really great in the deck. Going up a card, and that card being a 1 cost draw 2 is pretty nutty.

Chant and Open contract in the market are contenders to be switched to other cards. If chant is removed, it's worth reworking the power a bit.

Currently at rank 26 with the deck.
