Would you mind giving me a bit of insight as to the benefits of ravid? I havent crafted him yet, and before i craft 4 i would love to know what he is meant for. Is it mostly just a 7 power that gets you to 8, and the humbugs are just a bonus? If so, I am just surprised he deserves 4 slots if he is essentially jusy a seek power with a body?

Edit: Never mind, i just got super lucky and packed 1, so i crafted 1 to try them out and my post is the understatement of the century. He is far better than he appears at face value.

Yeah, he does a lot of stuff and is way more powerful than he looks. Ramps to 8 for Azy, makes it so Azy draws multiple cards the turn he comes down, makes an army for blocking or swarming.

Yeah, I have been playing this list all day and he is great. I severely underestimated "free" 1/1 fliers, especially in a deck with obelisk (though i see you just cut that, lol) and azy. At the time of posting, I also thought he played a sigil, not *any* power, meaning he also gets a scout effect or some healing. Recurring him feels good too.

I am playing with grasping over dark return, and enjoying it very much. Thanks for the list.

I wonder if Grasping at Shadows is better than Dark Return for this deck. You are 2-color, so you will usually have SS influence, and it's only more expensive than dark return when used on Auralian Merchant. (though there is no +1/+1 effect)
I also wondered about Mask of Torment, but you don't need to ramp past 8, so Eternity Core is probably sufficient most of the time.
