This is a concept I developed soon after the Belax/Grand Suppressor combo came along. The idea has been further strengthened with the addition of Deans' Chamber. The deck is viable not only for its ability to cheat huge units into play, but also for the additional benefit of disrupting the opponent's plans, as so many players depend on summon and contract effects.

Most of the card selections are relatively academic once you begin constructing around Belax and Suppressor. Barricade Basher and Refracted Sentinel are obvious choices as they're both cards with a summoning problem, just like Belax. However, since the Basher and Sentinel lack evasion, I added pump-up spells that also give overwhelm, such as Scythe Slash and Rampage. Originally, the deck ran 8 of these spells, but I had to make room for Deans' Chamber.

Keeping the deck mono-fire also seemed logical as the three heavy-hitting units are in that faction. Once the single faction design was chosen, then the addition of Prism Golem also made sense, giving the deck 16 large threats. I then added Broken Contract as it often can be used to meet Belax's summoning condition when Suppressor or Chamber are not in play - e.g., a Scythe Slash can power up the 4/1 Sellsword, making it possible to summon Belax. Obviously, that combo has inherent risks attached to it, as an opponent can remove Belax with a single card and reap some card advantage. However, this deck is generally willing to take those risks, sacrificing card advantage for big pay-outs. In addition, you can sometimes swing with a powered-up double damage Sellsword for the win!

Since 12 of the big units are on the ground, I decided to boost the flying assault with Passionate Stonehammer. The valkyrie helps to convert redundant cards in hand into something more useful at times. Once Stonehammer is in play, there is also a possibility of a Touch of Force/Mightweaver/Scythe Slash win.

The 4 copies of Pyroknight are also particularly helpful. In the early game, they serve as quick beaters, or even bait for removal. In the late game, they can become 6/5 overwhelming units which help immensely when you're trying to get that last bit of double damage through, thanks to Touch of Force or Mightweaver.

The final slot I've tinkered with is the 4 copies of Torch. Originally, I was using From Within because it's always fun to swing for 10 points of Belax damage in the air on turn 3 and then win the game with a double damage effect on turn 4. Still, it's hard to deny the versatility of Torch since it can work as removal or as a final face-damage effect, even hitting for 6 points if it's given double damage.

If you're interested in a fun combo-aggro deck, give this one a try! It won't always work, of course, but it often will. I've earned Mastery with this concept and love the way the deck can crank out dramatic kills while simultaneously disrupting the opponent.

Hey - Thank you for the feedback! I changed my deck to your revised version and just qualified in my second run! With my earlier version, I only got a 5-9 record, but I got a 10-4 with your changes. I really like Star Charts a lot. So thanks again for the tips!

5/7 would recommend (actually 10/10 meme, but every meme deserves a meme). But also, deck is surprisingly good kek.
