Very fun gauntlet deck, it usually gets to the boss but then... well, RNG and boss dependant.
Power is important here, usually I would Mulligan a two power hand, and usually aim towards the 4J for chains before the 3F for Xo. If you have nothing happening then ofc reach for something you can use, but if you have a hand full of playable stuff and recursion, by all means reach for power - this deck wants 8+ for Chains.
I can't stress this enough, the way I play this deck, the Display here is 95% of the time to be used as x2 Dark Return. The other modes to be used only in an emergency. I mention this so we're all on the same page, other people might use it differently.
If you think there's any kind of recursion in the AI deck (including Reforge), your first market buy will be Gavel unless exceptionally Harsh Rule is absolutely needed, it's usually game-winning. It's sometimes tempting to go for gift against Elysian decks with draw, and this might be correct, but at least spare a thought for chains. Chains is usually the winner in this deck.
Try to protect your smugglers as much as you can from silence effects as you'll need them multiple times. Sometimes I'm quite happy to chump them for this reason to protect from Valkyrie Enforcer, or I'm reluctant to let them die if I suspect the deck might play Steward of the Past. Please note that even if a Smuggler has been reduced to say -5/-5, you can recur it with Display and although it won't stick to the board as it dies, you'll STILL get to trade.
