Just a fun little gauntlet grinder. Personally I love churning out random units with the sirafs which works very well against the AI. Very quick run down
as it's pretty similar to my first version ( Can be seen if you click my username).
Firstly, know your enemy and redraw accordingly... e.g if you're gonna be playing against big fatties then you need some deadly ambush.
If it's a flyers you want to redraw for ramp/market/gnash or an SST or at LEAST a scorpion wasp.
If it's hard aggro you want SST/lifesteal/silverblade/siraf.
Any sort of midrange then siraf and ramp and grodov usually does it.
Also a little combo that is working well is to wait a turn on ambush units then ambush WITH silverblade. Can usually trade very well.
Grodovs burden and word of power are mad powerful in gauntlet. Nearly always my first picks in the market.
Grodovs wins games on its own. Ai has very few ways to kill relics (although beware it has some!).
And word of power is the ultimate answer to board stalls. Espeically with double damage units or big units or even an unseen commando or two on board to increase all the deadly overwhelm units stats!
- Only loss I've had in the last 30 matches was against armoury where it harsh ruled me twice and stuck down a sword of the sky king... while I drew absolutely terribly.
Sooooo could maybe squeeze some Saber-Tooth Prideleader
in maindeck, or in the market over shen ra speaks or sword of unity.
Sword of unity I love for the lifesteal and it's definitely won some games.
While I've personally never needed shen ra speaks yet but it seems like it could be handy.
Buuuuut alas I don't think the big cat is needed so it's mostly preference. I made some mistakes in that game against armoury not expecting the second harsh rule so quickly.
- Could include combrei vows. I probably will at some point.
- I feel like this deck is missing some hard removal outside of market. Don't get me wrong it's not seemingly slowed me down at all yet. Just gives me the fear a bit. Unsure what I'd change though everything does it's job very well.
- Could maybe lose a 3 cost siraf for another crack the earth. Since market is the win con of this deck usually.
So that's it. Just a fun pretty solid gauntlet deck.
If you have any ideas or possible updates I'd love to discuss them! Ty for reading!
