Seems like a fun deck for a new player like myself. What would be the upgrades with some rares?

Hi! The first obvious change is to take out Desperado for Direwood Beastcaller. Otherwise it's probably a good idea to add in merchants. Either will do as market cards for example can be: Haunting Scream, Feln Banner, Gorgon Fanatic, Feeding Time + 1 flex.

You can also experiment a bit with Haunting targets, for example Memory Dredger or the new Vara if you got hands on the campaign.

Hope this helps :)

Thanks for the very quick answer! :) Yeah Beastcaller seems very good idd. I just started playing so dont rly get the market mechanic lol, gotta read up a bit on that.. Is Stray into shadow a good card in this deck? I mean sure you might kill your own stuff but you get them back so..

You probably figured this out but Stray into Shadow's debuff persists into the void. Not really ideal if you plan on bringing the units back.

Np!
Short explanation of market. When you add a merchant in the deckbuilder, you'll see that a 2nd tab appear above your decklist. Click this and you can add 5 exclusive cards which will be stored in a market (or sideboard, if you're familiar with magic).

When you then play a merchant in-game, you can choose a card in your hand and replace it with one in the market if it has the same color as the merchant. Thus if you play just 1 type of merchant, all cards in the market should be that color for most flexibility.

However, you can also have merchants of different colors in the same deck. If a card there has multiple colors (like haunting scream) you can use either blue or black merchant to fetch it :)
