Hello everyone,
this is the first deck I post over here, I'm happy to get some feedback from you (:
First of all I want to thank Roomdo for the inspiration to this Deck. You can find his deck here: https://eternalwarcry.com/decks/d/g4ypkS9sVsA/the-curve-goes-1-drop-2-drop.
In the end I got from diamond 3 to master in around 3 hours with this deck I'm posting and the last 20 games got a nice 16-4 record.
The goal is to get your damage dealers (
Champion of Fury,
League Explorer,
Prowling Amaruq) on the board asap and remove any enemy unit with
Blazing Salvo,
Permafrost,
Torch or
Maveloft Huntress. This leads to a lot of resigns in the first few rounds.
D'Angolo Houndmaster is a good target for the enemy so don't be afraid to play him early on, even if you can't use his ability. They will try everything to remove him from the board and you get the chance to build up the real dangerous cards as mentioned above.
One change that made a huge difference was the addition of
Tormented Crown to the market. If you can play it in round 3 or 4 you get the chance to draw a huge amount of cards by round 6 or 7 once you filled the board. It helped a lot against midrange decks.
Acquisitive Crow won around 3 of the 20 games I played. Play him once the enemy got rid of his removals and you get a steady supply of 1-cost spells which can make a huge difference.
Iron Ursa also removes one enemy spell in most cases. Play him when you got a few units on the board and the enemy will try to remove one or more of your units.
Iron Ursa can protect your units once every game (After that the enemy knows the trick ;) ). But even if he doesn't remove a spell he has a nice body when you got 5 or more power and stealth keeps the enemy away from attacking. Keep in mind that he is Reckless so you maybe lose him in the next round if the enemy has a lot of blockers.
Feel free to exchange
Oni Patrol,
Oni Ronin and
Snowcrust Yeti for any better 1-cost cards you like. They also help alot to get rid of the enemies removals early in the game and can even sometimes win a game.
I hope some of you try this deck out and like it. Feel free to give me feedback to the decklist!
Good luck everyone and have nice day ^_^
One tweak that I've ran after the Amaruq's attack nerf was replace it with a full set of Gleaming grens. The cheap charge has done wonders in activating the Crown more consistently and helped in games where burning through by T5 hasn't worked.
Aggro on, man!
After the big nerfes I tried some changes as well but nothing felt the same and I decided to move on to other types of decks. I will definitly try your idea and maybe this deck can have a chance to get to master with some changes even after the nerfs.
Good luck, maybe we meet in throne some day (:
