Information

Do you have too much shiftstone just sitting around? Were you ever like: hey. I think aegis is the bomb. I like cards that have aegis. And warcry. And then you were all like "what if I put all those cards together, and they just won games because they were good cards"?

Me too.

And then, what if you were like "my cards keep dying, because I'm attacking, and Recycler is underplayed"?

Finally, what if you had all these cards from that stupid stonescar deck you built that kept getting Hailstoned? But they got better because suddenly most of your things had aegis?

This is a decent deck at best.
One of the problems I have been experiencing is that you are almost ALWAYS missing your first turn play due to a depleted land.
For an All-in aggro deck like this, that is just unacceptable.

Missing your first turn play is pretty much an auto-concede vs almost any other deck as an aggro deck that hits its first turn play pins you to the wall, a mid-range deck laughs at you, and a control deck thanks you for allowing them to get that much closer to winning the game uncontested.

I agree with you fully in that you miss your first drop on turn one. It actually leads me to wonder whether or not Ronin is right for the deck. That being said, I disagree with your other statement. This deck relies on deciding whether or not you are the beatdown.

If you ARE the beatdown, you are playing a deck that has trouble when you play cards on turned 2, 3, 4, and 5, most of which have aegis.

If you AREN'T the beatdown, most of you cards match up favorably, especially Highwayman, recycler, and duskblade.

This deck is like a penny stock, however; dependent entirely on the metagame, will rise high and fall fast.
