Information

After releasing my Welcome to Argenport v.3 budget deck I had received comments asking about how to upgrade it to a more powered version. I think that this deck plays somewhat reminiscent of the original while also moving towards having more standalone good cards. This deck also has the benefit of sharing a lot of the same cards are my Green Is Good (Updated) deck.

Since you already have Finest Hour and Steyer's Eyes, I think Kira, the Prodigy and therefore Helena, Skyguide are automatically included. In addition, I think Monarch Cloak is better than Bloodletter because it can disable hostile relics.

I posted this list prior to the Helena revert, and only did so as a response to someone hypothetically asking about a path forward for the budget version of the deck. Owing to that, I really haven't given this list much thought or any additional testing after that. At the point that you are including Kira and Helena, I think you are probably better off playing my Mono J list.

Cloak might be better for being a Versatile silence, but being an answer to relics is almost irrelevant in gauntlet where there are so few that are actually worth caring about. At the point where I think it's incorrect to include a dedicated answer to relics in your gauntlet market, I do not give much weight to that aspect of Cloak. I can also tell you that there have been a lot of instances where the 2/2 stats on maindeck cloak (not in this deck) felt really underwhelming.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of these changes made this list better, but this specific list was only posted as a hypothetical roadmap for people wanting to make my budget version less budget. This list was by no means exhaustively tested, and I haven't changed it because I wasn't interested in putting in the time and effort to tune something that was essentially an afterthought. After the Helena revert, people should probably just build toward Mono J.

Very good deck and even though it's "non-budget" it's still pretty affordable (only 1 legendary). I went 7/7 on 5 out of 6 runs and they were all pretty quick matches. One change I did make was replacing Glory Seeker with Reborn Master. The thing with Glory Seeker is that it's very good against the aggro match ups but with midrange AI decks, it kinda just sits on the ground not doing anything and more often than not, I just market/Steyer's Eyes it away. Reborn master stays relevant a bit longer by boosting 4 of the 7 units we run, has the same usefulness vs aggro and has endurance which is good against stun.
ItsTenz Eternal Version: 23.12.06
Having cut down on the weapon total and having gone up on the 2+ battle skill units with this list, Reborn Master does seem like a very reasonable inclusion. This isn't a deck I have given much thought to though and was only posted for the sake of someone wanting to know how I would make it less budget. I think that it quickly turns into a slippery slope of telling people to build Mono J as I would make more changes.

This deck sucks, first run, heremit's beast, no way out..
ItsTenz Edited Eternal Version: 23.12.06
Even the budget version of this deck can beat Hermit's Beasts, and this version is more powerful than that one. It's also super easy to transition to Mono J from this list with the only real outside cost difference being Bloodletter and Cylixes. This was not an extensively tested list, but I also didn't have issues clearing runs with it before I posted it. I mostly posted it because someone was wondering about a non-budget version of the deck and these changes all felt like solid upgrades. I also posted this before the Helena, Skyguide revert and I wouldn't be shocked if she improved the deck further.

Stonescar big whell is your best deck ever!
WinterWolf1297 Eternal Version: 23.12.06
I mean of the gauntlets to face, Hermit's Beasts might be the hardest one for any gauntlet deck, win or loss. It hunts and devours and has plenty of removal while running the best cards in Legendary in its colors. Not saying you are wrong about this not being the best but seriously one loss is not conclusive. See if you can get to a boss after 10 tries. If not then it is probably terribad.
