I made this deck because i was disappointed with how expensive time decks were in the legendary department. If you own the single player campaigns its not too costly it does run 1 copy of
Grodov's Burden and 1 copy of
Sandstorm Titan but those are pretty safe crafts. It does run
Twilight Hunt but those could be exchanged for more
Predator's Instinct and i would take some of the dinos out.
Rundown of important pieces!!

Grodov's Burden plus killer is really powerful and fun. It allows us to control the board since we obviously don't run a board clear, actually it's one of the strong points of this deck since it really doesn't care about creature aegis which can be a problem for removal heavy decks. Remember if an exalted minion with killer dies the minion you buff next also has killer so you can chain the killer effect and some other tricky interactions like if there board is full of deadly minions it can lead to some creative lethal puzzles.
Time Etchings is a must for Grodov obviously.
-
Alhed Ascending This card just ends games and is the reason we run cards like
Timekeeper which is also a must. Our top end isn't insane so this card works in tandem for the burst.
-
Pesky Seedling This card is the Trifecta it has killer and can slow the opponent plus the corrupted can be a factor if they have the rare board wipe.
-
Ubsat the Savior This card has saved my butt on many occasions with the silence and gaining life against those spam a lot of minion decks which there are plenty of in high mmr plus its a high stated minion for Alhed.
-
Sand Warrior This was a late inclusion that i made when i cut a lot of the high cost minions in the deck. In high mmr your deck will just get overrun by decks that are just WAY too fast so this is a counter to early aggression and good synergy with the deck although a lot of times he just gets removed early or you could just aggro the opponent.
-
Ixtol, Champion of Grodov a good top end synergy with the killer effect.
Worldbearer Behemoth could also work too but i don't actually own 1 copy myself lol, but either is better or worse in any situation.
-
Baying Serasaur I'm not a huge fan of giving the opponent a card and its a terrible defensive card but we have almost no draw ourselves and its pretty good on the offense also another target for
Twilight Hunt. Maybe not the best card in the deck but i always find him hard to cut for this deck specifically.
-
Grodov Evangel Obvious inclusion activates a ton of the cards in the deck and has the upside of actually being in an aggressive deck.
Market
I notice some of the games i lose i misread the matchup and choose the wrong card from the market i mean 80% of the time you'll grab the burden but on some occasions that cleric or titan will keep you from dying and
Gnash, Desert Prince can be useful but hes not necessary any large minion would do fine here. I wouldn't recommend pvp it could be awful because of relic hate, but if you do i would take out Gnash and throw a
Hermit Gardener maybe even a
Unearth the Past.
Edit: After trying some different things i made some changes to the deck
Araktodon Egg really fits in this deck nicely its more of a beat face/Burst deck now and
Grodov's Burden is more of a back up plan if it looks like there going to stall the board or remove your creatures. Ive tried
Amber Acolyte and
Talir's Favored but they just don't impact the board enough and added an extra sigil just in case but Etchings, Alchemist and Serasaur should make sure we don't miss land drops.
Edit 2: /June 26, 2022/ I thought this deck would be irrelevant after being gone for a year but nope its still extremely consistent. added:
Dinosaur Nest and
Amber Monument too lean into the dinos a bit more.
Grodovs burden is probably the most useful card for gauntlet decks.
Word of power in the market also seems good for closing out the games.
