Quick guide:
- Rise up your power with Bulletshaper and Mini Icaria
- Cut down your opponent's early/mid-game with Defiance, Torch, Vanquish and Runehammer
- Rise up with Valuekyries like Rizahn and Sediti
- Your opponent will be cut down by Wumbo Icaria and other chomnk airplane people

Update 6/29: Erik won today's ETS with a list nearly identical to mine: just -1
Valkyrie Enforcer and
Vanquish, +1
Rizahn, Greatbow Master and
Privilege of Rank. His market omitted
Avigraft and
Deepforged Plate in favor of
Bore and
Stormhalt Knife, which both seem like excellent meta answers for
Sediti, the Killing Steel and
Icaria, the Liberator, respectively. I've now swapped an Enforcer for a Rizahn myself, as the latter is an impactful card even (especially?) in multiples and I think less than 4 was a mistake despite originally being worried about a clunky curve. I've also included a Knife over Avigraft.
I think this deck can be played with 2-4
Xo of the Endless Hoard and extra merchants - 6 merchants being a notable similarity between my deck and Erik's which I was glad to see - or with a lower curve (probably
Unseen Commando in Xo's place) and fewer merchants. I still like 5 because
Svetya, Merciful Orene is a significant part of this deck you want access to in the relevant matchups.
This archetype seems poised to be a popular tier 1 choice so have fun rising up and remember not to be cut down!
Update post-nerf: I'm still playing this mostly unchanged. I think
Cauldron Cookbook is a great market card in any Fire deck that wants to grind out any games.
+ 3 Xo
- 1 Auric Runehammer
- 2 Unseen Commando
Commando and/or Whirling Duo seem good if you struggle with aggro, though. Runehammer just feels bad when you draw multiples a lot of the time.
