I made a few tweaks. First, I removed
Order of the Spire for
Ripknife Assassin. Spire absorbs some removal from
Hero of the People, but decks have so much removal nowadays that it usually doesn't matter.
Ripknife Assassin is another card we can play on 2 to be aggressive, while synergizing nicely with
Unseen Commando and
Hero of the People.
I also swapped
Protect for
Dark Return. Protect is nice with Hero and blowing out removal, but it is hard to keep up constantly at 2 cost. Dark Return allows us to bring back big Heros, stuff to buff Hero, or threats for a final push.
The last swap was adding in
Vara's Favor for
Paladin Oathbook as AJ recommended -- but Oathbook is more fun.
Deck plays like Argenport Midrange with less good cards like Tavrod and more jank like Hero.
Anointer of the Faithful is a great card at stopping early aggro while later pooping out buff
Crownwatch Paladin, or bonding Hero of the People so it can be played with another big unit in the same turn. Multiple bond trains with Anointer early on, paired with the +1/+1 buffs (which are NOT permanent - caution for Dark Return) she gives usually results in a quick GG from the opponent.
