Rakano Midrange (Top 50 End of Month!)

used this deck to secure top 100 for december (47 at the time of writing this post) its based off a set 4 nrausch list that i edited for set 5 with Xos, smugglers and a black market full of removal and a telut. youll notice a lot of 3-of's. i did a lot of experimenting with different numbers and this is what i ended up liking. 1 of ijins choice is pretty nice, but you really have to think about whether its likely your opponent has a good attachment youre willing to use it on in their deck early once you see their colors. because if they dont, you want to get the armor as soon as possible.
i think amilli is amazing in this meta, dodging avigraft and gun down means he is very hard to kill, and runehammer is good whenever a lot of aegis is prominent, so now. Im not gonna talk about every single card choice, but lets go to the market


as for the market, avigraft didnt end up making the maindeck, although i like it, i think its a card that i want to be able to tutor for in specific instances rather than getting it all the time. defiance is a great market card as well. the ability to kill a cheap unit with a weapon for 1 mana is extremely efficient. i ended up cutting the cookbooks entirely for being too slow, while flameblast ended up being really sweet. it can burn out an opponent from a high hp after you start to stall out vs control and act as a flexible removal spell. i use telut as my topend rather than icaria because getting to 8 is hard and putting a 3/3 weapon on a double damage unit is a good plan.
