Information

After a few days of playing this deck I feel very good about the deck it self and the list I have going. Of course it is always ready to evolve and there are cards I still want to mess with in terms of numbers, like adding rapid shot back in? maybe another Daring Pioneer? etc... . I may also want to try out Jotun Feast Caller somewhere in the deck just not sure if i really want ot add another 5 drop. There are alot of Feln aggro decks out there really trying to push the unseen cards and/or nightfall. I dont think that is the best place for this type of deck. It makes most of your. cards rely to heavily on each other rather than just being strong on their own. Zelia is a good card but I just dont think she fits all that well in this style of deck and if you play her you are forceing alot of your card choices into uneen units. Forcing cards like Winters grasp jsut for nightfall doesnt feel good, that card is just not that strong in constructed. Id rather not play a watered down version of this style of deck.

But with that Lets break down the deck

Removal Package
I like all of these cards alot in this deck and they certainly help push damage through. Permafrost got so much better when matched with Miris making Miris a 4/3. Annihilate is low cost and still very effective. One of the most annoying units for the deck is SST and Annihilate helps deal with that at a low cost. Deathstrike is just plain ol'good. Its fast it kills everything, yes it cost four but with having powerful units down on the early turns Deathstrike helps clear the way of any blockers or any units with out some stipulation. Feeding time works the same as Deathstriek but with the bonus of makign the unit a frog, so dealing with decks that rely on recursion it feels good to have some number of Feeding time in the list.

Units
Raptor is the best 1 cost unit for this deck. Ive seen other lists running beatle but its just not as good. Even if you cant play raptor on turn 1 its still an effective 2/2 with flying that can push damage. Argenport Instigator has had enough talked about it already 3/3 for 2 that helps push even more damage with its static ablity. Miris can be quite strong and one of its only downfalls is adding to the number of cards that can be hit by lightning storm. Also their are times where a 1/2 or generic 2/2s can block it but it has sooo much upside. Triggering the ultimate always feels good and pumping it up off permafrost just creates a very strong synergy . The one card that I feel people might say sticks out its Cabal Countess but so far in all the games Ive played its been strong. End of turn playing it throwing the opp of kilter, being able to play around harsh rule also just makign it a 6/1 beater can be all sorts of powerful on its own. Ive thought about taking it out many times but it keeps turning up and doing well in each match. Mighnight Gale is a strong card and this is the perfect deck for it im sure most already know and can tell how strong this card can be. Early on alot of th etiem ur other units are going to eat tourches leaving this guy to fly above and beatdown and gain you life. They have to answer this and then that leaves ur 4 and 5 drops free. Impending Doom has been around and in many lists and its just a cheap flyer that hits hard. the life loss doenst effect us much as we have units that have lifesteal plus we want to be as aggresive as possible and kill our opp before our life matters. Rindra is just bonkers good and is the reason this deck has been doing so well. Rindra also makes me want to run rapid shot, making it a 9/4 quickdraw overwhelm lifesteal is just plain nuts. And last but not least the suprme finisher of feln champion of cunning. Alot of our units need to soak up all sorts of removal and that leaves our opp with few removal spells for Champ and when it has aegis as it can easily have it ends games quickly.

Others

Sabotage - very good at dealing with weapons and early removal.
Strategize - helps you not flood and keeps your hand full of meat rather than just potatoes.
Unseel- With the rise of permafrosts value and all the new curses thsi cards is an upgrade to backlash even at the cost of the 2 damage backlash did do.

Power base
Something I think that could be toyed with still. I like having all 12 duals so we dotn have to play lame cards like feln stranger. The crest helps smooth our draws aswell. Cobalt monument is another card that can look odd as it does come in depeted but just havign the option to lessen a flood and making a 4/4 evasive unit helps in the longer games. I could see maybe trying out the shadow waystone but it just doesnt speak to me as much as cobalt and its certainly worth testing.

As of right now Ive been having a 60-70% win rate and have been having the most fun yet while playing Eternal.

If you check my youtube i made a deck tech going over the deck on there.

How good is Midnight Gale, based on your time with the deck so far?
Counterbob Eternal Version: 1.27
its a very solid 3 drop. it has flying and lifesteal which are both amazing and a four power at 3 cost. Its easily the best 3 drop for this deck. helps put and keep pressure on. can force ppl to answer it leaving them without removal for rindra and others. as things like annihilate dont hit it. It was the best 3 drop and one of the reasons to play this type of deck before the new set and now it got better.

I suspected. It looks great and was wondering if that held up in actual playtesting. Thanks!

how often do you wish the cobalt monument was another primal influence for champion of cunning?
Counterbob Eternal Version: 1.27
zero. you have 12 double sources. I toyed with the deck prior to the set coming out even though it was under powered as it was one of the first decks i started playing when i was new to the gaem and i was running 3 monument. Currently in this new version i am 9-4 on the ranked ladder. Ive also tested in casual with a better record but that doesnt really count to much. The only thing thats on the fence currently for me is the rapid shot ive been thinking of dropping them for 1 more strategize adn a 1 of Daring Pioneer.

awesome. i was playing GHP's list earlier today and it runs smaller units, gonna try your build without the rapid shots when i log on later!

PS: enjoyed your commentary during the eye of winter tournament!
