This deck has carried me from D2 to rank 218 masters in 21 games with a 17-4 record. It’s super legit.

I created this deck after listening to the Seek Power Podcast and TonyGeeeee was like, "Why doesn't Feln just play removal and good units with Dark Return to replay Champion of Cunning and the Merchant?"

So that's what I did, and this deck is great.

UPDATE: Now 26-7 and into top 200 Masters. I am seeing a lot more Time decks so I removed a Rindra's Choice for a Permafrost so I don't just lose to training weights on turn 2 (or at least not as often).

Like svrQQ here, I too pretty much just made an account to say that I like this deck. I just came from MTG, and control is my thing and I'm having really good results with it thus far. I don't have the Rindra's, so I'm just running two more pieces of removal and 2 Cull the Deck's and it's still working really well. I also moved one of the Harbingers to the Market and I'm really liking having one there. Thanks!

You guys are warming my heart. Harbinger in the market is definitely interesting, but I think it’s likely better in your list because you have more removal in the main. I come from MTG too, been playing for 20+ years now. There are a lot of us around

No, 2 kids and a full-time job means I'm lucky if I even get to WATCH one stream per week. Deck is not easy to play. Gotta understand your matchups really well to strategize and merchant effectively.

The biggest key is to think well ahead to what actually matters in the matchup.
Against FJS: try to hold your Vara's favors for Icaria and Market for Rindra's Choice and Channel. Your annihilates are largely useless here, so toss them.
Against Time: annihilate is super important, harbinger isn't and neither is Rindra's choice. Vara's favors are good vs dawnwalkers, but mostly you have to try and just dodge those bastards.

The rest of the meta is so all over the place, you kinda have to figure out your plan on the fly. Don't be afraid to toss away your dark returns in the early game against non-control, you don't want them clogging your hand.

Aw ok. I'm honestly considering cutting a champion of cunning for more removal since we have more virtual copies with dark return. It doesn't even seem to be a win con in most of my matches anymore.

Don't cut Champ. If you want to put it in the Market that's fine, but Champ is the reason to play this deck. You can't cut him.

I started playing this Feln + Justice deck love if you could check it out. It cuts Champ which sounds like madness but, IDK, maybe the deck plays a lot differently I guess? more controll-y? It only runs 10 units and 4 harsh rules and won some kind of tournament.

If nothing else I think it's super smart to splash J for Omen of Austerity which helps a lot against relics. Right now I'm having a lot of success with these changes to your list:

Hey mate,

I literally made an account just to thank you for this. I was struggling with which merchant to go and whether or not to go Azindel Gift & Dark Return vs Channel & Permafrost.

Also, I felt the dark return from market was super strong but the deck seemed to lack unit density since Steward got hosed. Can't believe I never thought to put Rindra in! This deck is great, 9 - 3 right now from Gold 3 to Gold 1. Thanks!
