what's the deck's win con? Even if you went outside of pauper and replaced Sentinel with SST, I don't see anything overwhelming that would stop annihilate/deathstrike your big units and use control to stop you...? (Especially annoying flyers that you can't stop outside of SST)

Well, what stopped annihilate/deathstrike is that both of them are uncommon - the main reason this works as a pauper deck is a lot of warp value, card draw from covetous stranger, and a lot of oversized value that's hard or impossible to answer with common removal.

How would you upgrade this for throne?

Praxis can definitely do something similar in throne: your ramp package is initiate, devotee, Auralian merchant, Tocas, and now Braun as of tomorrow. Your payoffs are Grodov's stranger, Ramba's ability, and possibly Heart of the Vault.

That said, Xenan most likely is the better shell for this idea.

I'm not sure throne can support a deck that works like this one - too much removal for the 'ramp' package to do its thing, and not enough strong warp or draw cards in Praxis to make up for playing Praxis in throne. It'd probably end up a very different deck, if the same factions at all.

It's been working well in bronze 2! Some of the combo moves are so demoralizing ppl ragequit 😂. I don't have a ton of cards cause I'm new but a couple swaps I've made:

1x Initiate of the sands for Yeti pioneer

1x temper for torch.

1x breath of voprex for purify

Gives it some wiggle room.

Ah, that's fair! This deck was built for the Pauper event, and is certainly much more effective at lower ranks. I just meant it wouldn't work out at much higher ranks. Some possible swaps include:
4x Kairos' Choice, 4x Sear, or 4x Blazing Salvo(which gives access to a Market) instead of 4x Torch - these are all fast, which makes them more powerful, and Blazing Salvo can get other answers.
4x East Annex Smuggler instead of 2x Infused Guardian and 2x Champion Grappler - access to a Market allows choices of stronger, more powerful finishers and more direct answers.
4x Xenan Obelisk instead of 4x Horn of Plenty - straight upgrade. Costs 1 less, significantly stronger effect.
4x Praxis Emblem instead of 2x Granite Waystone and 2x Amber Waystone - less strength, but lets you run higher influence cards and makes it more likely to get influence for both factions.
