Basic idea of the deck is to aggressively curse your opponent and their units.
Parul's Choice is a toolbox card that allows you to fetch whatever you need in a given situation, and despite the restriction it's no big deal to grab a permafrost or inflict conscious, but more often I use it to grab
Kodosh Sees All as a win condition. Parul can also win you the game by herself, so don't discount her.
The deck struggles a bit against unit-light decks or decks that have a lot of attachment removal. I played it in throne to some extent but it can hold its own, but is not quite up to snuff against more meta decks there. Given the abundance of unit-based decks in Expedition, this deck can thrive here.
Do note that you can have some very suirpriising damage with a
Parul, Sealkeeper play.
Forbidden-Rider Outcast and
Soothing Shortbeak are both Gryffyns so Parul will give them double damage, so if you play them both and curve into Parul you can swing a lot.
Cards that you can remove:
Electrostatic Distortion is an anti-armor card and slows down burn quite a bit. It might not be as relevant in expedition. I personally have been seeing a lot of Oni aggro, and the card functions fine there if I draw it but I almost never tutor it.
Numbing Cold is in a similar spot, I added it to act as a removal/board wipe deterrant but I almost never grab it unless I draw Choice with few options. It can win you the game, so don't discount it as a counter.
Kodosh Evandel and
Hexcaster were both added as power fixing, mostly because the Throne version of the deck ran Sediti and his power requirement was difficult to meet consistently. They can probably be replaced, though Evangel is often relevant for establishing early board control.
The market is intended to be an catch-all market. A lot of the time I grab Cleansing Rain to protect against spot removal of Parul, Edicts for specific color matchups, and Citywide Ban for stuff like Kalros.
