The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
This seems like a pretty strong version of the deck. I was worried about influence with the vows but thanks to trail maker it tends to work out. Burdenbearer is an MVP here, redrawing grenahen (or evenhanded golem after aymar stops playing curses).
Hopefully DWD either speeds up the curse/draw/warp animations or finds a way to ban this deck though, a 5-minute non-deterministic combo is painful for both players.
How often do you get market cards other than Soothsayer? Is that mostly for the "random unit beat-down" plan?
It seems hard to get enough mana to activate two grafters in a single combo turn, and usually unnecessary.
If people play market hate (Bam, Damara), it might be nice to have recurring nightmare as a backup finisher in the market. (free with double aymar in play). Though the rope might stop recurring nightmare before you have time to replay it 25 times.
1 or 2 azurite prixis has helped me out a lot with this type of aymar deck. It allows packbeasts/trail makers in my hand to mill bad cards off the top of my deck
It's a nice idea but I actively moved away from discard effects in order to make getting the correct units more likely. Since sometimes you need to set up hands with bearers, speed grafter and another packbeast.
If the Mirror Image is for a second Soothsayer, Burdenbearer Wisp is cheaper with Aymar. You could even run a few Wisps maindeck to reuse Grenahen.
With all the mandatory grafter activations for the combo, why no Merriest Mandrake?
I added some Burdenbearers, they seem pretty good. I dont think merriest does enough to be worth a spot since in most games you only activate grafter once.
One interesting, if annoying trick: Aymar will only play 25 Afflictions in a turn. This allows you to stick additional Aymars with no drawback when you combo. You can also loop two Burdenbearers to force this limit early. Not sure what to do with this, but it at least saves power on Soothsayer. You could stick Scattershot in the market to deal with excessive health totals.
