On my first run, I went seven wins and one loss (7-1,) and my second run, I went seven wins and two losses (7-2.) My latest run was 7-2.
My losses were mainly because of power issues and a few play mistakes. Power issues are highly rare for this ramp deck since of the non-power cards, 20 cards are devoted to ramp and 19 cards are dedicated to drawing more cards.
The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
I make 7-0 and the chest upgrade. Result: 1890 + 490 + 6 packs. And i will get leaderboard prize too. Profit event.
One think weird is the Market: I never pick equalize or Burden, but Burden is ok. I would change the Equalize for maybe an relic removal. But keep the Pit. Is a great card. Maybe - 1 Equalize + 1 Pit. 11 Harsh Rule i love this.
One of my opp make a 5 faction even with multiple Strangers, Symbol, and the 2 cost fate: add {X}. My weird match ever: Turn 1, Turn 2, 3, 4 and 5 Opp play: Depleted Symbol. He end 2 5 influence, 2 4 influence and 1 3 influence. I will play only this time because i need gold to ecq. Thanks for the list.
YurickYu, I'm glad that you got your 7-0 win! I believe that this is a solid deck for the event. I have not yet run a 7-0 with this deck, yet, but I have not played it without getting 7 wins for sure! I think I'm in the top 15 at the moment. I've made a few play mistakes, too, which has not helped...
As for attachment control, I completely agree that the deck needs it. After reading your comment, I replaced Equalize with Passage of Eons instead. However, I found that I missed Equalize, and its is just too strong to leave out. I've wiped the board with it many times because this deck makes it easy to intentionally lose your small legion of micro blockers to an assault of beefy attackers right after you market. In addition to wiping the playfield, I have also forced oppenents to discard 2-4 cards in several games. The deck reinforces this strategy because it runs out of cards quickly and then fills back up in the late game.
For attachment control, adding 2-3 Qirin Ascendant to the main deck is an idea, and would fit nicely with Sediti, the Killing Steel. I'm not sure what to replace for them in the main deck, however, and I'm just tempted to make room for Desert Marshals instead.
