Information

Hi,

----------

Update: After some trying with lot of little tweaks, I find this version the more stable right now. The deck isn't that great but rather cheap option (the Horu Spell Control that is flooding the ladder right now seems cheaper in fact, and surely way more successful). I had lot of free time so grinded heavily the ladder and managed master #17 as right now.
I would consider better option if you can, but the deck works fine so if you wanna try it hope you enjoy. It struggles a lot against control, for example the match up against the Horu Spell deck is almost impossible to win without opponent getting either bad hand or some misplay (and you still need to do 0).

Some advice:
- Suffocate is very important against Aggro and for delaying Praxis, and also can works as a way to ramp up with Hojan. If you use it on him when he has 2 attacks, it will activate renew first, then he will gain +2/+2 and finally the spell will kick and fail since Hojan will have 4 attacks. Be careful to not empower before!!
- If you have Makto, I would replace Mantle of Justice in Market for him. You lack more a good T4-5 option to put on the board in the market against Mid Range or control. Sometimes the site is not good early against control if you can't be sure to defend it. Still, the Mantle can be very good against aggro on a life steal unit and surprise, while giving you a surprise letal against Praxis. Don't work much against Control, except you go for all in.
- Be careful with Corrupt, if you do it on a spell that target an unit and can't do it on an opponent it's wasted since you will have to use it on your own unit (Defiance is fine since it just cancel it, more for spell like Vanquish).
- Do not hesitate to use the blade on Hojan if you feel you will ramp too slow. Would still think twice against Praxis however. Same for Suffocate. It's also better to put a Sediti without Onslaught than playing nothing or a weak unit in lot of case.

----------

So this is my deck I used this month on the ladder. After many tweaks I think it comes to a point where only small changes to fit the meta are needed. I won't deny that I heavily got inspired at first by the "Even Paladin", but since I wasn't much a fan of it in the first place, I came up with the idea to go with merchants and Telut, Queen's Hand.

For information, I'm playing for 1.5 month now and just managed Master #108 with it as I write this. So I believe this deck should be fairly accessible to most players.

The idea behind it was to use as many cards from the campaign I could since my pool and shiftstones are limited. Of course I needed to invest a bit, like the Sediti, the Killing Steel, Hojan, Crownbreaker and other like the merchants.

I know the new set is coming out very soon but still wanted to share it to hear your thought about it or even if it could give you some ideas for the future with the new cards.

Special thanks to Asymat for pushing me with the 8 merchants instead of 4 and so building around a black market instead.

I hope you find it useful,

Thanks for reading :)

PS: I don't have time right know but if you are interested I could try to write some tips on how to play this deck.
