This deck was modeled after AhornDelfin’s “With my last trick I will sooth away your health total” deck. I put in a few cards that improves the matchup against aggro much more favorable.
The purpose of
Permafrost,
Miner's Musket, and
Jotun Hurler is to serve as early game interaction. It matches up well against a lot of units in the current meta, such as Icaria, Valkyrie Captian and
Hojan, Crownbreaker. Additionally,
Jotun Hurler synergizes very well with the 24 Merchants in the deck.
The other major change for the deck is putting
Savage Denial over Swift Return. It negates enemy negation spells, which are popping up much more after Jennev Peaks did so well in Worlds.
