Try to handle the AI's early game with cards such as
Maveloft Huntress (even as a 2/1 killer to kill their 1 drop),
Vicious Overgrowth and utilizing
Steely Resolve to counter their cheap tempo swingers (torch/finest hour etc) while smoothing out your hand with
Evenhanded Golem,
Petition and
Strategize.
It's very important to keep the board clean and set up blockers.
You have no board wipe. You have almost zero healing.
You should affect the board on turns 2,3,4 as much as possible. Usual good starts include affecting the board on turn 2, smoothing your hand on turn 3 (for example using petition and playing a Primal symbol to make sure you have undepleted power for next turn so you can slam a 4drop), and affecting the board again on turn 4 by using 4 power.
Mulligan any hand that doesn't have a way to do this. Specially against aggressive decks.
After that you will be doing some stupid shit and hopefully have a lot of fun.
There is no practical reason not to include a second color (Time for
Wump & Mizo/
Equivocate/etc or Fire for
Sear/
Kenna, Uncontained/etc) Over using colorless synergy. I just like playing mono color.
