I made this deck almost entirely to see if I was right that Evenhanded Golem can work with just about anything. This pretty much accomplished that. Granted, it's a small sample size, but I was going for proof of concept, not actually trying to make a deck I wanted to play for 50 games. Update: It's continuing to perform above 50% winrate.
A little bit of background - this kind of deck is absolutely NOT a new idea. It's been around a long time. Svetya's Sanctum and Korvyat Palace are best buddies. (Hint: you get the Sanctum down first.) What IS absolutely a new idea is trying to do this type of deck without EITHER Hailstorm or Harsh Rule; doing this kind of deck without those should fall flat on its face and fail.
But then enter Evenhanded Golem. He allows us to get by without Hailstorm and Harsh Rule. We use Eremot's Designs and Malediction instead, because they are even costed. They do the job worse than Hailstorm and Harsh Rule, but it's good enough when Evenhanded Golem is there. (And honestly, once the sanctum is up, Malediction is better than Hailstorm because it doesn't kill the guy it makes).
It took about 5 games for me to figure out the decklist (and how to play it with Golems), but after those first 5 games, I only lost twice in the next 8 games - both losses were hyper aggro with "nut draw." Note that the first loss was in 3 turns. The other was 4 turns. I did not concede early. They actually had lethal that fast. See below for the screenshots of my win history:
