Greetings,

I really like the new promo card (Finneas & Finneas) and thought I'd slap something together that incorporates it. The deck is pretty straightforward....every card (aside from Finneas) costs 2 or less, so you can play a free card every time it readies. I don't think the deck is very creative...I just tossed in cards that seemed obvious given Finneas & Finneas' ability.

I played around with the deck for about a day and found the card to be a little too slow. People often removed it before the effect activated, so I added the Hourglass and Armadillo for the endurance. It seems to work better than my previous rendition; you don't have to wait an entire turn for the free card effect to activate.

The deck is pretty fun. I won quite a few casual matches, often because the cards are cheap and the deck is somewhat aggressive. But, I don't think it will get you very far on the ladder in its current form (maybe to gold?). I'll probably tweak it as I use it more if I find ways to improve it.....or I'll get bored with it and move onto something else :)

A few things to note:
- The market can probably be improved. I threw in some of the usual suspects, as well as attachment removal.

- The power base can probably be optimized better. I sort of tossed in what I have. You might put in some Crests for the scouting to find Finneas & Finneas quicker.

- I'm open to suggestions.

Anyways, I've had fun with the deck. If you decide to use it, enjoy!

The Teachers of Humility were consistently awful for me. I replaced the with Power Cell, to give me extra cards for Nom/Torgov's/Marauder and to be easier on the influence to cast, and the deck has performed much better since then.

Thanks for the feedback. Teachers is a hit or miss with me. It works for me if I can either get it out early or clear a path with either torch or permafrost....but I think you're right in taking it out. I'll probably run some tests with Power Cell. Seems like it would be more consistent overall than Teachers.

Have you considered Killer + Endurance to enable Finneas? :)
leonsaid Eternal Version: 23.03.08
Thanks for the comment. That's something that I just recently added to the deck. I threw in some Ghastly Perfumes for the killer (plus the regen), then I tossed in the Armadillos and Hourglasses for the endurance. It works a little better than waiting on Finneas to ready after a normal attack.

An idea I've been playing around with since yesterday:

That's pretty cool. I hadn't seen your deck until now, but I think it'll probably play better than mine. Keeping all the cards under a cost of 2 is cool for the Finneas effect, but my deck doesn't have any good late game finishers like your's does. And I like Sea of Teeth in the market. I often run it but opted against it for my deck for some inexplicable reason.

I really like the new Finneas card. I'll probably give your deck a try. Nice job.

I'm still trying lots of ideas with F & F:
- Creation Project
- Belax + Suppressor + Sling
- Killer + Savant
- Killer w/ no Savant shell

It's hard to get something that reasonably works.
leonsaid Edited Eternal Version: 23.03.08
That's the problem I've had. Anything I try only works when everything falls into place. I haven't been able to find something that's consistent. I even thought about splashing in some shadow for unblockable (something like Rune of Illusion or Ghostform). My first rendition had Alhed (like your deck), but I never seemed to get enough Time influence to take advantage of his abilities.

I thought about Savant, but I'm too rigid to include cards that cost more than 2 hahaha.

I actually like your Belax+Suppressor+Sling idea. I hadn't thought about that. You might be onto something there....

You've actually got a pretty nasty Belax setup in your decks (Another Suppressor Belax deck).
abbaabbaabba Edited Eternal Version: 23.03.08
Thanks. Yeah, that Belax deck is definitely satisfying (in recent versions I swapped out a few cards) and does what it's supposed to do...

Off-topic: just realized I should be using Maveloft to trigger F & F after trading with another Unit. Costs 7 Power to do instantly, but it's a solid combo.
leonsaid Eternal Version: 23.03.08
That's not a bad idea. How does Maveloft work when the unit it targets has endurance?

I've been trying a build with Call the Ancients today. Seems to work well with the 2-cost-or-less theme....but it needs more draw power.

I was thinking about your Creation Project idea. I thought about splashing some green in for the spells that can give aegis to Finneas, and CP would be a good fit. I might have to give in and add a few more cards that exceed the 2 power cost.

Toying with this currently: https://eternalwarcry.com/decks/d/AOPmruETsso/greedy-belax-finneas
leonsaid Eternal Version: 23.03.08
That's pretty sick dude. I toyed with something like that over the weekend, and it works well.
