The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
Hey LocoPojo, I'm really enjoying this deck, but I'm having a hard time with the opening hands. What do you look for in a hand? I've watched your video, but you have a lot of nice opening hands which don't require a redraw, so I'm finding it hard to decide when to mull.
Some examples:
- Big power hands as my first draw, like 6-7 power, with not much to follow up, so either 1 merch or bullet shaper and something expensive.
- 4 seats, 2 privilege of rank and xo, rizahn, savior of the meek as a second draw. Do I redraw that? It seems absolute ass, but at least I have power, but nothing to play the first turns. I'm sitting there hoping I face something non-aggro.
- Adequate power, like 2-3, but only extremely expensive cards. Like 3x Savior and a Rizahn/Xo/Chains or something. Nothing to bridge to the 8-9 power cards.
- Adequate power, but nearly only removal, like tons of torches/defiance but one big unit to top it off. I can control the start, maybe even draw something with Xo's treasure trove if I have it, but not do the bulletshaper combo.
What's wisdom in these type of situations? I seem to be hitting a spot where it's hard to transition. Like there's a gap around turn 4-5 where I am quite likely not to be able to play something, unless everything works out. Or early stuff (merch/bullethshaper) dies to the tons of removal people run, torches, desecrate etc
