Contrary to the name this deck is actually more midrangey. There are definitely still some kinks that need to be worked out but it has been working out relatively well thus far. Obviously this deck plays off of a combination of killer and quickdraw, although there is only a small amount. It still helps to remove opposing creatures while maintaining yours, thus allowing for board control. Quickdraw also interacts well with
Torch and
Purify as they´re fast spells. The
Praxis Displacers also help maintain board control, allow for more favorable blocks, or return creatures to your hand as needed in order to get more card draw from
Friendly Wisp, trigger
Dawnwalker, or re-trigger the killer effect.
I´m not sold on
General Izalio and am thinking of replacing him with another
Purify perhaps. I am also thinking of reducing the number of
Xenan Obelisks to 3 from 4. I am also considering adding
Waker of Ancients, although that consideration I am more hesitant about.
Also,the only reason I am running 3
Sandstorm Titans is because that is how many I have, optimally this deck should be running 4.
Let me know what you think, comments, questions, concerns, anything. Have fun :)
