just crafted this deck, this better be good!

okay, not bad. out of 12 games I got 10 wins and 2 losses and I got to diamond elo with this deck. ambush xumucan is way too strong and tilts enemys beyond earth. Also I did make a change to the market, I replaced ifinite hour glass with obelisk because you usually get a lot of tokens with xumucan and gnash and it's also easy to ramp up to 8 mana. Just don't pull obelisk against time decks because they will most likely have prideleader.

Definitely a good change of pace; I wanted to play a good Xumucan deck. I was wondering why you chose Initiate of the Sands over another 2-drop like Argenport Instigator? It seems like she doesn't work as well with Xumucan.

I'm glad you liked the deck. I'm currently around 30-70 masters going up and down with this deck. I really like to have acceleration to get faster to the 3 and 4 drops so I choose Initiate of the sands. Also of note is that the deck only as 25 sigils, so more power sources are needed. Tocas and Auralian Merchant also don't work well with Xumucan but let's you play Xenan Temple and the 4 drops even if you don't draw more power.
I also change the Market to include a Dissociate as it's very important against Diogo combo that is rising in popularity the last 2 days.

I didn't quite believe you at first about the Initiate, but you really do need extra power in the main deck. I tried putting an Amber Monument in the market, but you don't want to handicap your market choices that way. I'm seeing a lot of Skycrag snowballs, so I'm still leaning towards Devotee over Initiate, but that is pretty meta dependent.
I also really like Dizo's Office in the market as it seems to win me a lot of games when I don't hit 8 power, and I didn't think Infinite Hourglass ever did much.
Overall though I really can't argue with your choices after trying a bunch of different stuff! Nicely done!
