Hit top 100 in expedition with this list this month.
Inspired by stormguard789’s list, this is the deck that I piloted from Diamond III to Masters this month in Expedition. I've simplified the game plan more each time I've edited it and I enjoy it more each time I do.
What the deck wants to do is have access to a descent amount of removal in the early game as well as at least one dragon or a dragon forge by turn 3. Until then we're basically just trying not to get hit, using Cull, grabbing stuff to set up for later, and only burning removal for anything that seems like it could become a problem. Only start playing dragons if you have a Backlash, Felrauk's Choice, or Salvo in hand (and can play it), if you're trying to bait removal (as your opponent almost surely has some by this point), or if you just like to live dangerously. The key is getting a dragon to stick, especially Eclipse. Once we've done that it generally becomes much easier to protect them with our power available to us the following turn. After that, we keep slamming and try to speed up the process as quickly as possible with either Tolek or the Provoke in the Market.
Edit: Subbed a Spitflame for Karvet so we can forge for health and blockers in case of emergency. Also subbed a Tolek for another chant to help with fixing. Replaced Edict of Shavka in the market for Eremot's Designs. All of our market cards pull their weight except this guy and Eremot's is great for dealing with aggro. Was experimenting with 2 in the main but this gives us 4 ways to access.
Edit: Swapped Defile for the new Razca because having an early blocker that comes back and eats removal before your dragons land seems better than just killing a 3> card right now. Testing it out to see how it goes.
