Excuse me good sir.
First of all, congrats for your tournament. You always won.
Could you tell me why you didnt include Display of Instinct? Im a noob player and I think that card is pretty good.
Ty very much
Thanks! It is included! It's in the market. The idea is basically that you'd prefer to have one when you need it than four randomly drawn throughout the game. This is by no means always going to be the correct call but it's a playable choice depending on your strategy/playstyle/what you expect to play against.
Congrats on your great finish at the ECQ. I don't want to imply that you made any bad deck choices because obviously the decked worked well, but I do have a couple questions. I'm personally not a fan of 12 crests in this deck like most are, but 6 seems very low - how did you like playing with only 6? Also, the addition of Derry Cathain seems good but it also seems like a card that you either want to play 4 of (trying to open with it early) or none. What's your take?
Thanks! Well the deck numbers are entirely from FE Sunyveil. So all deckbuilding decisions and credit go to him. I'm just the lucky pilot that ran hot with it. The low crests allowed me to play a more aggressive gameplan in a lot of matches and most importantly increased the likelihood I play HotV on curve. The only change I would make is probably swap 1-2 of the non-praxis powers for praxis powers, maybe going to 7 crests adding in that third praxis crest. You don't need primal as much so just having it slanted more to HotV is a big deal. The Derry was a 3-for-3 swap with Moonstone Vanguard. I don't think Suny had a lot of time to test this iteration and I had played 0 games with this list before registering it. There's obviously room for improvement here. That being said I'm not sure I'd want 4 Derry. It's great when it's good but it's sub par in other matchups like Shimmerpack (hah) and Praxis. Just play around with it, find a sweet spot you are comfortable with.
