THIS IS A VERY TRICKY DECK AT FIRST

With the new expansion and merchants an interesting combo is now available. Due to Market cards being drawn when you use the merchant you can use a on-board Talir, Who Sees Beyond + Auralian Merchant to play Vodakhan, Temple Speaker with a free destiny proc. This will then start a chain of drawing the rest of your deck. The only cards that will be added to your hand are draw, Dark Return, and means to an end once you start the chain. The deck is mostly made up of stall cards, the ideal being lockdown the board while you draw into your "I win now" combo at 11 mana from hand or 9 mana with a merchant in the void + dark return.

There is multiple things to keep in mind when combo'ing and different ways to finish the opponent. The main bread and butter combo is 2 means + activator for 50 damage. You typically want to avoid playing the means until your deck is completely empty then play both with the power from vodakhan and activate them. If the opponent has Aegis the 1/1 wisp will pop it or if it was already drawn you may use 1 means to pop the aegis. Use the merchants you draw from your deck when the combo goes off to swap for lumen attendant and Disjunction. These will allow you to return your Means to an End back to your hand for usage. You can do 100 damage maximum with this combo.

Some tips:
Don't be afraid to play out your only merchant in hand for a Unraveler of Destinies if you don't have Talir yet. He can quite easily draw you a new merchant + more if you stalled the board out.

The Voice of the speaker will help you get a lot of extra power from your deck but will also slow you down. It also will not echo the power cards unless it was on the board before starting the chain. If the chain stops due to drawing some Devours and Culls in a row she will then give echo as normal.

You have 4 Activators for lifegain at the end of the combo, Devour is the most common since it will be added to your hand as you combo. Time Waystone is the next most common and cheapest, try to keep one in hand if you can. Temple Scribe is the 3rd option, if neither of the other two options are available use a Displacer to place one back in your hand during the chain. The final one is Unraveler of Destinies which while expensive can be used for free by the merchants if still in your market and you have destiny procs left or played from hand/void. Unraveler can draw the rest of the deck by himself if you have hit the free card limit by simply equiping a means first then sac everything for 11 cards + 11 mill.

Watch your hand size, if your hand is 12 cards you will stop the chain due to discarding your destiny cards, and if your hand is at 11 cards you won't echo power anymore. Don't worry about stopping the chain too much, sometimes we want to let things resolve then start it back up with Devour/Cull the deck.

It costs 6 mana + one of the activators for our 50 damage combo. If they have aegis you will either need for your Entrancer to be in the deck or use a dark return on it if it's in the void to pop the aegis first For max damage you will need Lumen Attendant + Disjunction and two activators at 18 power if you have a Waystone for one of the activators or 19-21 if you don't (Dark Return/Scribe/Devour). If you don't have a sigil in hand all the seats in the deck won't be non-depleted from your chain. If you need 100 burst make sure to have enough power left in your deck. If they don't have aegis you can prime your means to an end a turn prior to save 3-6 mana but it has a higher risk.

The free card cap is around 50 cards, which means between your deck and ephemeral wisps you may hit the cap if you get the combo very early. This isn't really a problem most of the time since the combo will give you a Means + Unraveler to finish off the rest of the deck but remember that dark return won't work if you hit the limit, you will need to play him from hand. Avoid killing your wisps so they don't respawn every time you draw a power and if you have enough power you can sacrifice your Voice of the Speaker to save animation time.

If you only have 1 Merchant left use the Displacers to return her to hand so you may cast them for your Disjunction.

Make sure to use the Disjunction and Lumen Reclaimer outside of combo if there is good stuff in your void or problematic attachments. If you know your opponent can't get over 50hp you can use them freely. You can pop a face aegis with a dark return on your 1/1 wisp or if it hasn't been drawn it will auto kill aegis. Just make sure to hold your means in hand.

If you run into mill the win condition can change drastically. If you are certain your opponent is on mill use the disjunction to remove any manacles and play out your means to an end. You have to save a devour so that if they deck you with Solitude you can then devour and activate your means to kill them first.

I just lost to this deck and it was an absolute honor to watch it do its thing. Looks like a lot of fun and completely unexpected. The fact that Vodakhan, Talir and unraveled of destinies can all be in the same deck to deliver an absolute wombo combo is literally why you play eternal. Bravo!

This is pretty cool, but a bit slow. Here's a few ideas that might make the combo faster.
Duskwalker for ramp, also goes well with Lunar Magus.
Learned Herbalist to discard Talir, Who Sees Beyond and ramp, also can discard Ephemeral Wisp.
Dark Return in addition to more copies of Grasping at Shadows to be able to combo with only 6 power.

Currently the wincon is 2 Means to an End plus a Disjunction and Lumen Attendant. Its a lot of redundancy, but also requires 3 cards that are pretty useless outside the combo. Here's some ideas for a leaner combo.
Talir, Unbound to pay 33 and take another turn. It might cost too much power. Maybe also needs a market Lumen Reclaimer to not get decked. Could supplement a single Means to an End.
Katra, the Devoted and a Striking Snake Formation in the market. Use killer with overwhelm for lethal, requires the opponent to have units out. Should be enough damage with Learned Herbalist triggering Katra, the Devoted.

Cool ideas. I actually really like the dark return since I forgot it also counts as a free draw for destiny triggers. I've actually cut the Grasps for 2 Dark returns instead to smooth out the combo. Talir Unbound is sadly too much power for us to cast, you end up with sub 30 power usually even with a Voice of the Speaker. The only thing I dislike about using Striking and Katra is I lose if the enemy has no board. Herbalists were in the original lists I played with but she is way too weak to by herself since her 2/2 body really does nothing to protect you.

Amaran Stinger could be an alternative win con for when they have no board.

Ok so I have to hand it to you. This deck does its thing very very well. But OMG what a slog fest! I took it into the gauntlet to practice, and while I went a clean and easy 7-0 with it, it took FOREVER lol. Fair warning folks, do not use this for gauntlet farming unless you have infinite time available lol (and even then pick something more efficient).

Great deck though!
