I wanted to do something with
Traver's Farm, but not have it a generic 5-color-all-stranger-I-have kind of deck.
And yes, at first look
Traver's Farm and
Evenhanded Golem in the same deck seems to contradict each other, they don't work together but apart each of them does its own job very well in this deck.
Early game plan is to get either
Varret, Hero-in-Training going for transformation or play those
Evenhanded Golem (before site comes along), T2 - if I have both of them in hand I prefer to play Varret first cause his mastery is a bit more important.
Mid-Later game plan is to build your stranger presence, play
Incarnus, Makkar's Listener get random good stuff, most time I prefer to make Incarnus a stranger with
Stranger's Mark,
Soaring Stranger provides some control and reach in the air and getting
Triumphant Stranger off of the site pretty much seals the deal most of the times.
Overall, it is a fun deck to play in gauntlet, and it has a moderate success. The Strangers match seems a little unfavourable but it feels damn good to win this match.
