Ghostform is a very aggressive card that appears to do almost nothing for the deck. The upgraded fanatic already has overwhelm, so unblockable isn't too important for it.
Surgeon's Saw and Stonescar Pickaxe are quite slow. I guess the idea is to put pickaxe on an unblockable unit, but I think you are unlikely to spellcraft it most of the time.
As you point out, you have no merchants. Any merchant (xenan, time, shadow, or fire) would help the consistency of the deck, and would allow you to draw cards like Azindel's Gift when you actually want them.
Saw and Pickaxe are there to play off Deleph and/or boost up Interrogator. Saw is more likely to get Spellcrafted, as an emergency restore to a nearly-popped Fanatic, for example.
Honestly, it's mainly a fight over which Merchant to use. Probably Kerendon, ultimately.
