Xenan Ayanthorn has the advantages of more consistent routes to 8+ power, though the payoffs in this one are more "fair" than Aid of the Hooru. Ayan, Touch of the Umbren, Parliament, Hall and of course Mask and Ironthorn themselves all capitalize on the decks high power values. The decks curve and life gain both make cards like Harsh Rule less necessary, but its lack of a powerful draw engine can be meaningful in high value control and midrange matchups.
