do you remember when
Draw-Go For People Who Really Hate Fun was frontpage? yeah, it still works and it only really consistently loses to
Darktalon Wyvarch.
Good news! We don't need to play
Honor of Claws anymore! With
Disciplinary Studies, we have reliable early card draw that *massively* ruins enemy gameplans and makes
Wrath of Caiphus and
Pinnacle of the Reach even more likely to just win on the spot, since your opponent probably won't be able to
play any of the cards off of them.
I recommend not putting
Quicksilver Gateway in this deck. Just don't. Please.
I recommend Draw-Go For People Who Despise Happiness if you like:
spending at least 20 games figuring out which hands are keepable
gaining life
putting your opponent at minus 26 from 1 health with wrath of caiphus
actually using display of vision's 'kill an attachment' mode
winning at embarrassingly low life totals
gaining a lot of life
eremot's designs
straight dying to darktalon wyvarch but not actually to most good decks
summoning the tormentor
gaining a truly illegal amount of life
and, of course, never conceding until they actually hit you for lethal
Anyway, probably the toughest match up a I've had yet. I Imagine if I had been using a Hooru control deck instead, I wouldn't have had a chance, and that's one of the best decks I run. Haha.
Kudos, and solid build man.
I love Dichro's Ruin, so any fun take on it I'm always down for. Can't wait to give your build a try.
If you wanna, I threw up a Dichro build myself not too long ago. You clearly know what you're doing, so any kind of critique would be appreciated.
Is it any way to counter 12 mana Orene's Scepter (play + ultimate)? I've destroyed relic with fast spell, but all spells are still banned O_o
Scourge of Frosthorn is another auto-lose I suppose?
it can definitely be dicy against aggro, but this deck can very well recover from 1 health against a lot of strategies, so don't be afraid to take damage to get ruin+pinnacle set up.
