A take on Isomorphic’s
ABCDEF, but with some changes. The "GHI" in the title refer to
Greater Plans, Hojan, Beloved Son, and Intrepid Longhorn
No market/
Fearless Crescendo: I found that going down a card with this deck was frequently problematic, and most of the time I was getting either
Stand Together or inscribe. Obviously some flexibility is lost when removing the market, but not going down a card makes it so that you don’t cannibalize your hand, which often comes at the cost of power, and you have cheaper access to Stand Together. With no market, it makes sense to cut the
Accelerated Evolutions as well.
Hojan, Beloved Son: I found that I was flooding more often than I'd like, and the
Tradition Chants from the original list seemed unnecessary. This deck's influence requirements are very easy -- only PTJJ -- so all you need is a hooru power and a combrei power and you're set. Hojan gives you back some of the power flexibility you lose without inscribe in the market, while being a dangerous lategame threat that works with most of the other units in your deck.
Smattering of 1-cost spells: Instead of stacking
Bless the Wilds, this version plays a wide range of 1-cost tricks to keep your opponents guessing in open decklist formats.
Xultan Conclave: Pretty easy inclusion from the new set.
Intrepid Longhorn: I found that I was often lacking units, and Intrepid Longhorn fit the criterion of being an aggressive X/3 that can be played with the deck's faction constraints. Also helps replace the removed power, sources but admittedly not by a lot.
