Edit: After the feedback from itsdannyboi, I have decided to trim out 1xTorch and 1xTavrod, Auric Broker to add 2xRise to the Challenge. This is mainly to increase the consistancy of drawing into what is needed. Thus far I have not missed the cards trimmed, as Rise can draw weapons that can answer what your Torch would have, albeit costlier, and Tavrod has no issues finding more copies of himself to snowball with only one fewer in the stack.
The second change is that I have saved up for (and remembered to spend the shiftstone on) a Regent's Tomb to pull out the Ijin's Workshop that was sitting in my market as a vestige of prior versions of the deck that ran a few Oni.
Happy holidays and new year! I have finally made a deck I feel is worth sharing with the world at large.
I decided to introduce my old pal, Hornboi (
Tavrod, Auric Broker), to my new bae who shares my inclination towards hefting hammers,
Brel, Solist Apostate.
The general gameplan is pretty similar to the "Paladin Armory" archetype that seems to be bouncing around. You'll be wanting to drop
Anointer of the Faithful,
Hojan, Crownbreaker and
Copperhall Paladins as quickly as you can, preferably in that order, so that you'll be ramping like a champ.
This deck's top end can close games fast with Brel's buffs landing on your
Auric Runehammers,
Starsteel Daisho, and
Bladerang. These Relic Weapons are also likely to be picked up by your Tavrods, who will be doing double duty buffing them and pulling your Copperhall Paladins and more of himself out of your deck. Finally, you've got
Xo of the Endless Hoard who offers a bit of a Swiss Army role, direct damage, card draw and so on.
Your Market options are far from set in stone, but I chose the
Valkyrie Enforcer to offer a silence and an earlier flier than Xo so you don't get edged out.
Vanquish in case
Slay, and
Display of Ambition have made themselves scarce. I have included
Harsh Rule because it is my favorite OH SH*T button when I am playing Justice. The other inclusions,
Ijin's Workshop and
Deepforged Plate are intended to cement a lead on the board and also serve as potential wincons.
As always, I am more than happy to respond to any questions you may have regarding the deck, and most importantly I hope you all have a blast!

I would think maybe Rise to the Challenge or Smuggler's Stash would be a much better pull than Ijin's Workshop.
Although, I like the value that a site offers: three decent spells (granted warcry is win-more if you've got the units on the board to stick it to) and a solid unit if you protect it. However, I actually slotted it in as a placeholder for Regent's Tomb since I do not have it yet. Not having Onis in this version of the deck does make its inclusion a bit of a headscratcher, but oddly enough I used to run a few Oni in earlier versions.
I came to find having Ijin's Choice was pretty clutch to destroy relics/pesky weapons and if Ijin makes it onto the board to buff your paladins it is a pretty sure fire win.
I do like Smuggler's Stash and Rise to the Challenge they have both been in my previous versions of this deck and I'm glad you brought them up because I have been meaning to make room for them in this iteration, too.
I appreciate the feedback!
