This wasn't my first draft after the release of Dusk Road. It was merely the first one that didn't get hamstrung by flood/screw and lack of proper cards. One draft offered me zero viable late game; one offered almost zero removal; one offered zero flyers. Drafting with all three sets mixed together has so far left me with the impression that deck-building is going to be more uneven than before. Didn't like those bad cards you had to survive on before? Well, now you might not even get those among your choices.
I can say, however, that
Jotun Punter is a very good card, and that Yeti synergy (especially with midgame units like
Slushdumper) has taken a step up. Nightfall is interesting too, and appears to offer some way out of board stalls, if you can puzzle through the interactions. I won a few games, one during this 7-2 run, because my opponent forgot the 1-damage ping that occurs on each player's turn.
(Note: Only drew
Adaptive Predator is one game; played him in zero.)
