Information

Much of my masters laddering has been against by (1) tokens / aggro and (2) assorted control decks. Obviously, I wanted to play something strong against both. Devastating Setback sits comfortably at this intersection, so I built a Feln list around it. The basic idea is to go all in on (low-curve) disruption, topping off with Channel of Tempest, in contrast to the recently popular midrange-style decks. I've taken this list from masters 160 to around the 70's. I have at least a 70% winrate, which includes a TON of punts (I'm trash). The list isn't a far cry from many Feln decks, but I'll flush out some card choices below.

Sabotage (4): This card is the all-star of the deck. In the tokens/aggro scenario, you are trying to knock out key attachments or expensive burn spells (Obelisk, Obliterate, etc). In the control scenario, you will often have time to cast a few disruption spells. The strategy there is to erode their removal pile & expensive swing cards before you start to develop minions. Disruption can set up a safe JFC which will usually win you the game. This card is leagues better than Unseal / Kaleb's Choice for a few reasons. First, it costs one. Second, you gain information about the content of their hand. Third, you don't need to leave Power open waiting for them to cast something.

Annihilate (3): This card was the other revelation for my deck. I am playing many copies for two reasons. First, the 4-cost removal that the deck typically relies on feels slow in this meta. Second, Time Units are the worst matchup for your deck in general. This card is crucial for efficiently removing Sandstorm Titans and protecting your cards against Carnosaur. Even against aggro it is usually a 2-cost Torch.

Rain of Frogs (1): This card is unusually controversial. Some people will say, "your deck contains ROF therefore it's bad," citing that you can hit their wincon and still lose. A common example would be losing to weapons after hitting Icaria in FJP. I think the other disruption spells help mitigate this outcome. Not only that, but you have a surplus of AOE to deal with the tokens. In my experience, the card is often really strong, and provides a great deal of information. If nothing else can assuage you, it IS only one copy.

Azindel's Gift (0): This card seems like it would fit into the concept of the deck, but in my experience it is much too expensive. There are too many games where it sits dead in hand. The matchups in which you'd find it most useful typically run some kind of relic removal. Lastly, once you cast this, all of your (cheaper, more efficient) disruption spells are dead in hand, which can make for some really awkward draws. I don't like it in this list.

Channel of Tempest (3): I play 3 tempest only because my Power-base is small, but I have a lot of draw. You want this to guarantee that you don't run out of steam after 1-for-1ing your opponent with disruption.

Cheers!
