The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
I do have a bunch of shiftstone sitting around, maybe I should burn it all to craft the 13 or so legendaries I would need for this deck because it looks pretty sweet. :)
No guarantees about how well the deck is gonna do right now or long term in general but sure if u like the look of it and can afford to go for it especially since all the cards in it are decent to good crafts anyway :)
Not worth burning the shiftstone for this deck specifically. But if you don't have 1-2 starsteels or 4 Icaria's, those are cards which see wide play in other decks so you might go for it on those
Was trying to figure out what to do for a more "budget version" of this, since I'm missing some of the legendaries. Wound up adding in the 7 mana bond Valk. And I swapped some fire sigils for Common Cause. It sucks that many of the Valkyries don't really pull their weight in constructed, but Justicar also looked cool for a more utility pick.
Unfortunately both of those cards are really poor and underpowered :/ also midrange decks like these heavily depend on their legendaries as powerplay threats to take over the game.
Another great deck! I took it a greedier route by replacing porter with ChaGlo. I kept getting run over by aggro and kept flooding out. Drawing porter in the late game felt awful. I also am trying Bailiff for Commando. Command is awesome and I like the bump to Icaria in the early game, but he is usually dead on site. So far, bailiff has been pulling thru and getting in a warcry or two has been great.
I do agree that this deck suffers from the same midrange issues that other decks have where you draw all your low end, or none of it.
All that said, I love the deck. Thanks for yet another contribution!
Champion is a decent fit but u cant just cut 4 power to fit it since 29 power is not remotely enough for the 5+ drops this runs. u need to shave intervention and a daisho or sth to fit 2 privilege if u want to try that. You cant cut commando because it dies on sight since if commando doesnt need to get killed they kill the good unit u play a turn later. u want to play as many must kill cards so that one int he end sticks and wins ;)Not a fan of bailiff there are no decks it is particularly great against and it has a poor body. the deck is after all still a flyer proactive midrange deck. the lifesteal also does more or as much vs aggro as bailiff except it is much better vs other midrange and control.
yeah that and the fact that it has a bit of narrow gameplan and limited interaction. but i guess the curve thing is the trickiest part with any of these 1 to 6/7 drop justice midrange decks like big combrei and so on. but so far the power of what the deck can do has been making up for it surprisingly well. my friend also went 14-6 with it yesterday^^
I was wondering why all of a sudden I'm seeing this deck everywhere today. Neat brew, a little too gimmicky for me. Looks like it can get really awful draws with all that high end. Seems like you really need to draw the right mix of cards or your plan just falls apart
I mean not more aweful than basically any midrange deck that has a bunch of 5 and 6 drops especially time. I mean it even has 4 ramp cards thanks to new icaria and pseudo ramp in sower of dissent. cant really say this deck is gimmicky by any means. the main issue of the deck is that it is rather the opposite since it is sort of one dimensional since it is mostly just a bunch of good evasive units going up the midrange curve. sower provides it with some nutdraw potential so does icaria sometimes. the biggest problem is the limited means of interaction/boardcontrol but there are not more good options so it is what it is.
You're running 4 Icaria the liberator without the ability to reliably get to 7 power every game. Porter, small Icaria and sower are all situational, and can all fail to do their job (get you to 7). The only reason to run 4x 7-drops is because you want to maximize the chances you draw it turn 5 after an attack with a Sower (while having a valk in play). That's the gimmick. Even combrei and Elysian don't run 7 drops, and they're much more consistent in their ramping/filtering. The only deck that can reliably run 4 Icaria is Icaria gold, and that deck often loses when it stumbles on it's mana
I mean not really. the deck has more power than any channel control deck between actual power porter and small icaria. and thats not counting sower triggers.it has more power than the icaria gold you mentioned and thats neither the most consistent nor the best icaria deck out there. The things you claim are just not true. and as i mentioned in the deck tech series porter is questionable and should possibly be something else. Its not like this is some low curve deck with icarias jammed into it for sower or sth like i have seen some people do. also elysian runs much less power and combrei runs 7 drops or what do u think mystic ascendant effectively is? let alone lists with vodakhan?
Once again the deck has its problems and flaws but what you claim is mostly incorrect.
Uuurgh I am so tempted to just dust half my collection to build this deck, it is so cool thematically and everything x___x I am missing 4 Amilli, 2 Icaria and 2 Daisho. I just might do it tonight, just give up on every playing time again or something. Awesome deck!
Too late, thanks for your warning anyhow :P I just scrapped my whole grenadin pile that never really gave me much happiness anyway, and here I am. I am a very good customer at least! Hopeless.

Well I hope it works out for you at least. And glad you like the deck this much :)
