Information

Brewed a dark Chalice deck focused on Wisps and Radiants. It uses Ephemeral Wisp as cannon fodder and recurring buff target, feeding Mitotic Wisp, who gives access to a toolbox of assorted Radiants. The deck is a lot of fun to play and I'm surprised how well it performs.

Edit1: Streamlined the deck a lot for consistency.
Edit2: A bit more streamlining and added Mirror Image to copy Ephemerals, get another Killer Unit, trigger a Summon effect again etc.

i like your idea of abusing ephemeral wisps and mitotic wisps with radiants, and buffed by cultists. i used to play my chalice deck with ephemeral wisps too, combo with vodakhan staffs. i like fun factor and creative idea more than victories hence i am going upvote it from whoever downvoted you. hahaha...

but i can see few major problems in this deck.
number 1: no green means no harsh rule. difficult board control. chalice decks play tempo and the best tempo swing card is harsh rule.

number2: your wisps etc do not have much strong "presence" like the traditional chalice deck eg "summon with an effect for value, then chalice-buff, double use". wisps and cultists they don't do much by themselves. their values come from dying and resurrecting. you have quite a number of non-chalice targets hence feel clunky. worldjoiner and lumen reclaimer feel very clunky hence i am not sure if they are needed in this deck.

number3: silence. thank goodness meta nowadays have less and less void-hate cards like stewards or maidens. but there is a rise on silence and transform. it significantly beats the resurrecting ability, but at least still can leave a body behind as your chalice target, a compromise but not that bad actually. but because your those cards suffer from no strong "presence" of utility after summoning, hence it is still weaker.

honestly though, i do like your idea of ephemeral and mitotic wisps and radiants. i will copy your this idea and try my best improve it if you allow. thumbs up for you. :-)

Thank you very much for your detailed comment (and for getting me back to the default +1 ofc). As you might have guessed I'm also a Johnny player at heart. Yes, I like to win, but I like to do it in style ;)

In regards of your (very valid) critizisms:

number 1: I was playing a Chalice deck with Justice (plus Time, Primal ofc and then a single Fire Sigil so I could splash Knucklebones as Plan B) before this one, but I got bored of it, that's why I built this one in the first place. Though I gotta admit I miss Harsh Rule and sadly Stray into Shadow would wreck Ephemeral Wisp.

Number 2: I'm actually not quite sure what you mean with this one, since I never played traditional Chalice decks. I thought giving Wisps Killer with Xenan Initiation would be an effect for value...(Edit: Was still sleepy when I read it, now awake I know what you mean, things like Combrei Healer giving health and stats, Desert Marshal Silencing etc. and then on top of that being a Chalice target, right?) I get your point about playing Units that aren't "chalicable", but I'm not that sure three Units in a 75 card deck qualify as quite a number ;)

Worldjoiner I added as a tutor target for Mitotic to break (very) late game stalemates by dropping her, giving her Killer right away and going for the biggest threat on the enemy side (preferably Gearcrunchers, feels SO good), which she did a number of times... but if I'm honest to myself, much more often I draw into her without the game ever getting to the point to play her, so I'll probably end up cutting her again.

Lumen Reclaimer though is a real MVP in the deck. She fulfills a multitude of tasks and gives very flexible options: She's my Void hate, counters Means to an End, Solitude and reanimation decks. She's my insurance, putting destroyed Chalices and Units after excessive trading or boardwipes (usually with healthy buffs from Chalice and/or Cultist, maybe even Killer, Revenge or Destiny) back in my deck, significantly raising the percentage of "gas" I draw into. She kills face Aegises so Dreamsnatcher can do his thing. She provides a respectable body from the getgo for the cost, without the need to get buffed before she can trade. Yes she doesn't go along with Chalice, though the better she works with Xenan Cultist's buffs, and especially with Xenan Initiation, drawing into bigger and bigger getting 4 cost Killers often takes over the game... and with Revenge, later Destiny on her and her copies things get really wild... Chalice or not, I really wouldn't want to miss her in the deck.

Number 3: You're right, with both... Silence is a problem if I can't "rescue" with Devour, but also I barely ran into any recently. Eternal meta is always shifting, so I hope it doesn't get to a point where the deck can't compete any time soon.

I'm really glad you like the idea, and yes, please, do your own take on it and feel free to link me to a decklist once you did.
