As you all I know, I love my Lifeforce brews, and with the change to Beckoning Lumen I felt like I needed to take a step back and build a new deck deck from the ground-up. This one starts with 4 Becky and 4 Theurge, as I've been very impressed with those cards and wanted to see how strong they could be when they're the focus rather than Katra.

With the rise in popularity of token decks involving Assembly Line and Torrent of Spiders I was running into issues of not being able to break through ground stalls while playing other Lifeforce builds. So with this take I decided to try and get evasion in the deck, and honestly Sadistic Valkyrie and Colony Matron have held their own so far! The exact removal suite is still in flux, so feel free to adjust it to the needs of the meta you are seeing.

What would be a good replacement for Ayan in this deck, if any? Unfortunately I don't own any copies of him yet :(
I'm trying this deck currently with some ambush wasps in his place, it's a good removal, but it is another application entirely. I'd like to hear your suggestions if there are any.

Otherwise, great deck, I've had tons of fun with it! It's one of the few lifeforce decks that feel smooth to play and it can win even without Katra sometimes. Thanks for sharing with us, Sir!

There is no 'good' replacement for Ayan. You can jam something like Xenan Destroyer or Cabal Cutthroat, but obviously they are not on the same level. I would just try to get Ayans if you're interested in ever playing Xenan, as he's a 4-of in every deck that can cast him.
