Pretty simple strategy with this deck: Stun, then kill with
Icebreaker or
Shatter.
You're in good shape if you can keep your Icebreakers alive. Many cards in this deck stun, but, otherwise, plenty of cards in this deck are substitutable for whatever you have in your collection, or whatever might suit your play style more. You might choose to have more 1- and 2-cost units, but I find I don't get too behind by the mid-game, so any tempo loss or board absence I might have suffered in the early game is easily recovered when I take out key units.
Obviously, this deck suffers greatly against many units with Endurance. Also, the strength of this deck is removing units, so dealing with an opponent with many Relic Weapons could be a problem.
Lightning Strike and
Biting Winds can help with that.
Minor strategy tip: I sometimes deliberately hold
Eye of Winter or
Icebreaker in my hand, even if I have the power to play them, because I want to tease out any removal that the opponent might have that could dispatch two of the core cards in this deck. Better to play them when you can use their powers immediately in the same turn, rather than have them hang around exposed to removal, without you having used them once.
Keep in mind the difference between permanent stun and temporary stun. Use permanent stun to work around opponent Entomb effects. It's generally better to use temporary stun with your Icebreaker/Shatter kills, if you have a choice.
