Sharing my deck I used to hit masters in Expedition for March.
Basically i wanted to build a deck that uses
Fallen Winter and go on from there. The other main consideration was that i was facing a lot of Aggro decks, hence I wanted market access for
Heavy Hail.
First iteration of the deck was running
Deathless Lurker and
Devastating Setback they didn't help in the Praxis/Stonescar/Mono Fire matchups, so they got cut. Similar case for
Deep Freeze in the market.
If you are facing more slow decks, they felt like good options.
For the play and the mulgian, the idea is simple. We have a decent enough value in our 5+drops so we want to establish board control by then and use it to win the game. Due to this we sometimes hold Centipade keeper for the amplify in hand, espeically vs non-aggro matchups.
Coerce helps early to scout what the other deck is and plan for our future turns.
For replacements, in the 5 drop slot you can in theory play some other combination of value cards, they are not too important, similar case with
Corrupted Riftborn and
Collector Crow and
Stirring Leader in the market, those are more just value slots that i have in my collection that help with the game play. The one replacement i'm not sure of is for
Lipa, Witch of the Woods as it does multiple things, mainly is a flyer and is a hero for Kelmeks.
