The ShiftstonedEternal Power Calculator is a deck-building tool that visualizes your odds of drawing enough Influence and Power based specifically on the cards found in your deck.
I've tried variations of this deck with and without Evelina, Valley Searcher and think Evelina works well despite the anti-synergy with Chalice. Even if dinosaurs in your hand are getting buffed, the explorers are still good chalice targets and having multiple Evelina's on the board can quickly create large cheap dinosaurs.
I'm currently only playing with 2x Evelina and dropped all 4 Trail Maker; these were replaced with 2x Twilight Hunt for removal, and 2x Hunting Pteriax 2x Worldbearer Behemoth. I could easily see removing the Behemoth for another Pteriax and Evelina, but the overwhelm and ramp from Worldbearer can be useful.
Overall nice deck and fun to play. Thanks for sharing!
I like the idea of mixing Dinosaurs and Chalice, but I think there's room for improvement.
First of all, doesn't Evelina, Valley Searcher get a bit in the way of capitalizing on Chalice?
And if you don't play Evelina, you don't need that many Explorers.
Also, why do you play that much ramp? You curve out at 4 power, do you really need 4 Trail Maker AND 4 Avirax Familiar ?
I suggest cutting Trail Maker for some good Dino, perhaps a good old Predatory Carnosaur, or maybe even splash some Shadow to play Bloodscent Avisaur
