Ok, so there are a million ways to run "a weapon deck" in Expedition.
But through trial-and-error I've found that a lot of the options are too slow, too greedy, or too weak in terms of tempo/impact.
After Separate Ways introduced Glaive and Pit, a certain version of this deck started to work really well for me. What I've posted here is almost exactly that deck, but with one notable change: I swapped out 2 x Murgo for 2 x Delivery. Murgo is ofen just too expensive and proved to be the weakest card in the deck after a large sample size of games. (However, it's still situationally awesome). Hence, I introduced a Market just for this post that is still a work-in-progress. Everything else has proven itself:
- cards that didn't make the cut include Camrin Sniper Rifle and Steely Scavenger
- you want to buff your weapons and fetch your weapons
- sometimes it's risky to play Daisuke (as he might whiff on finding a weapon); hold back on him if you have other ways to play a good turn
- of course, a big weakness of the deck is the required Power/Influence; occasionally, you just lose solely to bad draws
And why no Lystia in the deck?
