I’ve you like Even Handed Golem, Reweave and Palace then I have the deck for you! Is it better than Svetya’s Sanctum Hooru? Probably not but it will rack up wins and you will enjoy a different game every time.
Some card/interaction overviews
-
Even Handed Golem/Kothon- Both important two drops that are effective early and late. They also make the two copies of Royal Decree into your best turn 3 play for disruption. Either can also Reweave for the other AND if you make an Owl with Kothon you can Reweave that into Svetya or Loyalist.
Svetya/Loyalist- Again either can Reweave into the other and specifically Reweaving Loyalist into Golem and Svetya is pretty fantastic. Loyalist is also a great card to curve into Palace and I generally don’t play Loyalist on turn 4. Svetya additionally digs for Golem and our other units if it comes to that.
Mokhnati-A curve topper than may or may not be the best option but it either closes out a game or you draw a full hand if opponent kills it but it comes with the upside of shuffling back in. Mokhnati can also be Reweaved into another or itself which is pretty insane value.
Reweave- I mostly covered the interactions earlier but it feels great here but I did cut it to three since we don’t want to flood on Reweave as was happening
Vanquish/Ice Bolt-Great removal that works in an Even Handed Golem deck
Honor of Claws- It can be a real dog sometimes but it feels so necessary in others, may be worth trying a 2/2 split with Strategize or just switching to Strategize entirely.
Runehammer/Stormhalt Knife- Not sure Runehammer is the best option available but it’s just a good card that acts as removal for Aegis units and other threats that can otherwise be difficult early. Stormhalt Knife propbably doesn’t need any explaining by this point.
Korovyat Palace- A great engine that interacts favorably with most of what we have going, also shouldn’t need much explaining.
End of the Story- Honestly I wasn’t too high on this inclusion early on since we have early units but I believe the deck can grind enough that it ends up being a favorable card to have.
