This is a deck I got to Masters with last season. It still seems to be doing well. Everyone tries to snipe
The Merriest Mandrake but with
Meditation and
Pause for Reflection they can escape before anything bad happens!
Lord Ragnar is best friends with mandrakes, who knew? He's especially BFFs with
Shadowcreeper since the discard is a cost, so you don't even need to pitch a second card!
You can bounce anyone to get the ultimates back, and bounce Ragnar to put him down again, but if you refresh an ultimate without using it again, Ragnar doesn't respond to it.
Aika, Whirling Death is turn 8, so feel free to replace her with whatever lategame closer you have to hand.
Don't forget that
Lord Ragnar also hits
Mask of Torment for a second juicy Tormentor.
I don't know how this deck will fare if
Turn to Seed ever comes back. Transforming hurts here, but most of this stuff is Mandrakes and Mandrake Accessories anyway, plus its strength is flexibility, so it'll probably be fine.
Hope that clears things up. Let me know how it goes, I've been wanting to craft The Last Carnosaur myself!
Lord Ragnar with 2x Rust Machine and Lumen Attendant returning Kairos' Choice was an infinite loop, but at some point that interaction stopped working. If it gets fixed, this would be a good shell for it.
My only reservation with Kairos' Choice is that it seems like the escape pods being 1 mana helps out in dicier situations. Leaving 2 mana open seems to make people more wary and less likely to use (waste) their bomb removal. It's certainly worth considering, though! I'll have to try it out.
