To start I want to give credit to Fishandhips for the Reactor + Icaria combination. They were the first one I saw playing it. I think I went a different direction with the deck ultimately, but credit given where credit is due.

This deck went from D2 to Masters with some mixed success around certain machups. The point of the deck is to power out icaria and kaleb from turn 4-6.

Have to be honest... the general metagame these days is not very inspiring, so I continue to play oddball decks and making them work instead. I'll be posting a couple more oddities that I enjoyed playing this season.

Is there any value in adding some Lifesteal? Or have you found that you can out race the damage from Reactor with your major threats?

I think there is probably more value in double striking a unit over giving it lifesteal. Whirling duo is probably good enough to buy one more turn for Reactor, but the deck is all about leaning into killing as fast as possible using the power advantage. I did try some Makto shenanigans to always stay at 1 life, but it wasn't good at all.
