1) Get Rilgon's Disciple in the void. Methods include Herald's Song, playing him and chumping/attacking into fat blockers, and dropping him along with a couple of other units to bait a sweeper. You can even Annihilate your own Disciple if you're really desperate.
2) Play Haunting Scream on Disciple.
3) Play Gift of Battle on Disciple.
4) Add various pump spells. Oathbook counts as a pump spell.
5) Kill the opponent in one turn.
TIPS:
- You can afford to be careless with your units. It's okay to trade a 2 drop for a 1 drop. It's okay if they die, as long as you push enough damage through that your Scream can finish the job. Because you don't care about your board, you can chump with units to buy time for drawing out your combo.
- Sometimes a Kosul Battlemage is enough to burn them down if you can't get a Disciple into the void or if it's silenced.
- You can actually win via regular board dominance sometimes with Oathbook, Permafrost and Annihilate.
- Gorgon Fanatic attracts removal and also draws you cards for your combo if left unchecked.
- After a single Scream, your unit keeps all battle skills it has. This includes Flying, Charge and Berserk (which refreshes if you've used it already). If your Scream doesn't do the job, you can use Dark Return to hit them again.
- Disciple + Gift + Rapid is 24 damage. You can do the last point of damage with the Nightfall from Dusk Raider for added style.
- Mulligan aggressively for your essential combo pieces. This means Disciple, Scream, or Gift. You can also keep hands that contain Kosul + Oathbook and try to win on the board. Merchant fetches combo pieces and so it counts as a piece when mulliganing.
Also this is an excellent deck name and the reference is not lost.
