Trying out a Swindler+a small relic package in Temporal. Swindler lets TJP Temporal play
Urn of Choking Embers main without going into 4 factions (like my other temporal list). Urn shuts down charge units and units with aegis giving you more time to draw answers for their board.
Adjudicator's Gavel is a sweet void hate relic that keeps opposing cards dead, while
Frost Talisman is a late game draw engine that still has relevant text early on.
Vapor Hut could replace it if you value the cheaper activation and hitting the top power of your deck more than the top card of your deck. If you think both of these relics are too cute then add another spell in the main deck of your choice, I'd recommend the third
Vital Arcana or the second
The Great Parliament.
One-of
Vision of Austerity is there to randomly hate out relics and to answer powerful relics such as
Azindel's Gift or
Avigraft on our smugglers. If fliers ever gets popular, cut the avigrafts for some meta relevant removal.
Black Market:
Disjunction: Great card, fast speed relic interaction and can buy back an important relic. If you prefer other relic interaction in the market, replace
Vision of Austerity with this. You want one at least one disjunction in the list because it can buy back a win condition in
Sword of the Sky King.
Scorpion Wasp: Its this or
Equivocate for cheap catch all interaction. I personally prefer wasp, as it removes the threat instead of temporarily getting rid of it, but its up to your preference.
Brilliant Idea: This is the reason this deck runs smuggler. Turns out that drawing 4-8 cards with this is very powerful and will allow you to get back into games or seal up your winning position by getting out of near top deck mode by finding you threats, removal, and draw spells.
Temporal Distortion: The namesake card. Lets you have near full control of the game and enables one to spend a ridiculous amount of power to draw and control the board each turn until your opponent concedes or dies.
Pit of Lenekta: A slow alternate win condition because the deck mains a copy of
The Great Parliament as an extra main deck win condition that is also decent against aggro and midrange earlier on in the game. I like to have at least one way to actually kill the opponent in the market and this seems like the best there is for the deck's black market.
